don’t disclose your mental disorder on a dating website

i almost forgot.
i went out on a date last night with a guy from okcupid. he didn’t really look like his pictures, and he was short. i have no romantic interest whatsoever, but he would be super cool as a friend. but that is beside the point.
he was pretty much talking the whole time. once he decided to tell me about all the “weirdos” who make profiles on okcupid. i was apparently the first person he had met from the site. i asked him to give an example and dude says the following:
“well, there was this one girl who wrote about how she is bipolar but she’s on medication so everything’s fine”
this was followed by a shock-and-awe look like “omg can you believe that?!”
i just smiled.
Holeeeee shit!!
bwahahahahaha!
I had a guy once go into some detail about wjat a biaaaaaaatch his ex was and when I asked.. we had been talking for a few weeks.. lots of texting phone calls etc.. i like to see how bad they trash their exes before serving myself up for a letdown.. anyways she well nevermind but he said “turns out she knew all along and never told me”.. I was wondering if I drtifed off but he really – he wasn;t being a basher .. i mean really…just said it was a horrible experience and glad he got out of it.. I said knew what? he said oh she was bipolar – thats what made her do all that stuff.. I kinda was like oh it is huh? tried to tell him it was a little unfair.. then asked if he would ever date a chick who was bipolalr again..
ok where did that go? yea well I am single and …totally single.. sigh
It’s amazing to me that being an irresponsible asshole is somehow more acceptable in the dating world than being bipolar.
OMG. Ignorance is alive & well, as always.
Well, at least you know that you don’t need to waste your time on such jerks…
hahahahah oh okcupid!
